Luann also began working with advanced diagnostic companies such as Genova Diagnostics and SpectraCell Labs to elevate the health and wellness of her patient care in private practice. In 2016, Luann became a certified Fermentationist, and continued to study gut-rebuilding as a basic building block for prevention and reversal to chronic illnesses, which has further elevated her passion today. You can visit Luann today atLifescape Medical Associates Family Practice in Scottsdale, Arizona. Luann works side by side with a dedicated team of physicians, nurse practitioners, physicians assistant, nutritionist, psychologist and fitness coach, to provide a holistic approach to family practice that many other private practices may not have available today. Luann is passionate about addressing root cause of disease and focus on helping the total body to be as strong as possible. The healthiest she can help her patients to be, is contingent upon the best communication, questions and finding answers that work. This is done by working together as a team and access to information and ability to implement. Many times, patients will need advocates that assist in getting things done and help provide feed back and input when needed. A personal favorite tool which Luann likes to utilize with her patients is the Micronutrient test. This testing has been established and available through functional medicine practitioners for a few years yet many traditional primary care and family medicine practices are lacking the education to provide in their practice. Luann would like to make this testing available for all patients, as well as share the benefits with other providers who have not yet received the education. Additional testing through various laboratories are shared through consultation. If patient physicians are unable to access certain tests through their practices, Luann will work with the situation to provide access as best as she can.
